Then Saturday we got up early and went to the Baylor Homecoming Parade. Even Matalley got into it, she kept waving her arms, saying "hello, float people" (well that's what it looked like she was saying since she basically just says, dada, bye-ba, and occasionally mamamamammm). Grayson and his cousin Paige even made the Waco Tribune Herald website (photo #275 on the Homecoming slideshow).
We met up with friends for lunch and then headed off to the football game where Baylor almost pulled an astonishing upset. It was very exciting, especially since we thought it'd be a blowout. Grayson kept yelling at the refs (how could he not, with Matt yelling at the refs in his ear?). It's not everyday that you hear a 3 year old yelling, "WATCH THE GAME!" During most of the second quarter, Pops took Grayson down to get a closer look at the Baylor Bear. While there Grayson met his "new best friend" Allie who was the bear's trainer. After the game, we took off for Matt's uncle's wedding in our Baylor shirts no less...yes, we were the most underdressed. It was a great wedding. The bride and her family and friends made all the food which was delicious and everyone looked very happy. The bride has 3 daughters and Steve has 2 daughters and I seriously thought they could set up a modeling agency...GORGEOUS FAMILY! Then we were off to Mimi's for Saturday night before heading home yesterday.
My poor kiddos are tired after 18+ hours in the car, but they did well and managed to act sane despite the increase in sugar consumption. Here are some additional pictures... http://www.slide.com/r/INabPrsb6z9qmgSgWXMjf6QiHIAnrFP8?previous_view=mscd_embedded_url&view=original

Happy Halloween and Homecoming and Wedding...
We had a full weekend (I'm beginning to wonder when we won't have one; life with kids is busy). Anyway, we drove down to Waco this weekend. First stop was to trick or treat. We hit the houses in Matt's Aunt and Uncle's neighborhood with Princess Bobo and Tia the Witch. Aren't my treaters cute?

Your kids look great in their costumes! Who all did you see? Anyone I might remember/know? Wow, I never knew how impressive the floats could be!! Chane is in the Springs for two more weeks doing a rotation in Sports Medicine at the Academy. It was fun to catch up. We will for sure plan on pressuring everyone we know to meet next year! We have to!!!!!
Hi Miss Kalley!! Love the costumes and glad you all had a good weekend!
