We went to Sesame Street Live last night. Originally it was just going to be Grayson and me but a friend gave us tickets at the last minute so we all could go. Sadly the kids took terrible naps yesterday (um, Grayson, what nap?). Grayson was fairly stoic the whole show and Matalley just kept getting mad that the characters wouldn't sit with her...I was somewhat nervous that she was going to take off for the stage. Man, she has a temper. If it wasn't the characters, she was screaming for the spinning light toys that every kid in the audience seemed to have and that were WAY overpriced. We ended up buying one for the kids to share and they didn't like that so rather than just take it away and listen to them both scream, I had the great idea to buy another toy...a WAY overpriced Zoe doll. Matalley spent the second half of the show putting Zoe down to sleep in my lap, Matt's lap, the chair in front of us, etc.
It was just a funny night. The kids did enjoy the music and danced along. Hope they have a good memory.
