School field trips are lots of fun, especially when I get to chaperone. The other two moms have daughters in the class and they held hands on the way the hayride. Grayson eyed me from across the field...never acted like he didn't want me there but I didn't get a hand hold. Is that a boy thing or my kid thing?
They had a contest so see who could husk two ears of corn the fastest.
Guess whose kid was forced to practice lots this summer husking corn before dinner by his slave driving Momma? That would be this winner (by a good minute and a half).

Grayson and his friend Parker picked out pumpkins from the complete opposite side of the pumpkin patch.
Grayson got to ride a real school bus which he was pretty excited about...that and the lunchable he ate for lunch. It was a treat for me to see Grayson interacting with the other kids' and I certainly left feeling happy that Grayson was mine and that some of the others had their own Mothers to return to:)
