Special Treat

Guess where the US Capitol Christmas Tree came from this year?  Good ol' Meeker, Colorado.  As you know, Meeker is very special to me, and I thought it was fitting during the year of my Pompa's death, that the tree would come from the town he loved so dearly.  AND, the tree stopped over in Amarillo on its trek to D.C., so we got to see it...truly all is right in the world!  The kids got to sign the banner (Grayson wrote his name, Lola's name, and Matt's name in 3 different places so the Sadlers represent!). 

They also had balloon animals, cookies, arts and crafts, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus available.  Lola wanted nothing to do with Santa, but she was happy to grab the polar bear from Mrs. Claus.
