Matalley has gained 5 ounces since birth and is in the 50th percentile for weight(7lb, 15ou), height(20in), and head circum(14.5in). Her umbilical cord fell off yesterday so she can now have a real bath. I wanted Matt to be apart of it so we'll do it sometime this weekend. Unfortunately, our little girl has bad diaper rash so we got a prescription for some fancy diaper ointment. Thank goodness I have insurance, it would have cost me $440. (It was quite an ordeal to obtain the medicine...took a while for CVS and the insurance co to understand that she was covered under my policy...multiple trips to the pharmacy and many phone calls). But we have it now and hopefully her little rear end will feel better soon. She has another appointment in 6 weeks and will get 4 shots..sad, sad.
Uncle Brady and Aunt Amy come in tonight. Grayson is super excited. Every morning this week he has asked me if Brady and Amy are here. What do you think my chances are of getting him to bed at a decent hour?
