Ouch@!*&#!

Matalley had her 8 week appointment at 9.5 weeks Wednesday. She got 3 shots plus an oral vaccine for Rota virus. I cried because she screamed (no sound, red face, open mouth scream). Here I am supposed to be protecting her and I let her feel the pain of shots. She pretty much slept the rest of the day. Yesterday was much better though, and I think she's forgiven me. She is still in the 50th%ile for head circum.(15.25") and length(22.25"), but has moved down to the 25th%ile for weight (9 lb. 13.5 ou.). Grayson did the same thing and our pediatrician stressed me out about it...saying multiple times that I might need to supplement if he didn't gain weight. With Matalley she just said, "well I think she's going to be tall and lean." She's started batting at objects and has quite a grip on my hair.

Batting...

So fun...

I took this one to record that our tree does have blossoms because I'm guessing we'll get a freeze soon and it will kill them off. Unfortunately, the blossoms are stinky instead of sweet smelling which is good for the tree because I probably would cut off too many branches to decorate the inside of my house if they smelled good.

Grayson is officially in big boy underwear and will show them to you because he is so proud of them. YEA!

And the adventure dinner went well. There were 10 of us gathered around large folding tables in my living room since my dining room is too small to accommodate that many comfortably. Even with the green theme, the food looked very appetizing and tasted so yummy! It was nice for me to have some girl time too...I'm lucky to have such wonderful friends here.

I understand about the tears during shots. Olivia has been sick now almost a month with an ear infection and we had to go in everyday over the weekend for an antibiotic shot.....poor things!

This makes me miss our adventure dinners...so much fun! I'm glad to see the tradition lives on.
