Rummage weekend

Well Grayson's hair is fixed. I found a new lady who did a wonderful job on Friday. Before she started Grayson said, "you're not going to cry, right?" :) I'm amazed at the job she did, considering Grayson didn't stop asking her questions...."Where is your car? What color is it? What's that? Is it for girls? How did it get there?" It was pretty funny. Then when we were in the parking lot, he found a penny on the pavement. He gets excited when he finds money to put in his piggy bank. Imagine my surprise when we got home and instead of putting it in the little pig, I found it in his mouth. Yucky, yuck.

And rummage is OVER! Thank goodness. We made close to $50,000...is that not amazing? The money will support our many programs like kids cafe, hope and healing place, Teen Court, CASA, Harrington Cancer Center, Weir Memorial Nursing Home, and others. I was so happy to have my parents here this weekend to help Matt out. He had to be exhausted after last week and my disappearing act. They went to a pumpkin patch on Saturday and then we were able to lounge Sunday and Monday. Unfortunately, I didn't capture any pics since I was stuck at rummage for the day. Grayson and Bompa painted pumpkins together and again, I missed out on the photo opportunity. Pitiful, I know. Y&B bought Grayson a new game that he loves and so here is a pic from our family game night this evening.
That's Grayson winning. Matalley continues to get into everything and loves the leapfrog learning table. She makes a beeline for it, pulls herself up, and walks around it pushing all the buttons. She has a little cold or is teething so she was a little cranky all weekend, but she's still a cutie. Tonight Grayson was sharing his tool set with her. Not sure that she appreciated the gesture...
