More Teeth

Matalley wants to do anything and everything that Grayson does. If he's eating chocolate, she wants a taste. If he's sitting in a chair watching a video in the Gymboree store, she wants to sit in the chair next to him, even if her stroller is parked right behind the chair so that she can see...it's just not the same as the chair. If he gets a high five, she wants a high five. In fact, she walks around saying "fi, fi" and holding her hand up. If you give her five, she just starts giggling. And she just gets louder if you don't respond to her "uh, uh, uh, uh" and the pointing gets more emphatic. If you ignore her, she dramatically throws herself down on the floor and just cries in sheer frustration that you don't get her needs. I'm sure it doesn't help that I laugh at that, but it is a funny sight. Seriously, what are the odds that both of my kids would have tempers? I know, I know, it's hard to tell that she has a cranky side, when she looks as sweet as this...
She also now has 4 teeth on top and I think the back molars are coming in now too. She's been gnawing on her hand a lot this week and a little fussy. I'm sure they hurt breaking through. Grayson has asked me about a dozen times when his teeth are going to fall out. I keep explaining that he has to wait until he's six, so then he tells complete strangers that he is going to loose his teeth at 6. The strangers just stare at him trying to figure out what he is saying.

Today Grayson put a stretchy belt around his head like a headband and called it his racing hat (I guess because it looked like a sweat band?). Don't know what the nursery at church thought about his head gear. We are reading Soul Revolution in my Monday morning bible study and it's so great...highly recommend it.

Saturday, Matt and I had a date night. We planned to go to a wine and chocolate party but dinner went a little long, so we didn't make it. We were able to take a few pics of Bobo and Pops with the kids though. I plan on blowing the silly picture up to an 8x10 for Matalley's wall.
