Cowboy Music
Wednesday we went to cowboy day at one of the local museums. The kids had fun dancing to the music and racing with stick horses. My only comment is that Matalley will dance in front of anyone...including a whole class of 3rd graders. The girl has no fear, as far as dancing is concerned and I did not like walking out in front of everyone to grab her. They also had a video of Indian dances and music. After watching it, Grayson said, "Is that what Indians sound like?" I explained that they spoke a different language so Grayson started singing VERY LOUDLY, "hey ye ye ye yo yo!" I just kept whispering, "shh shh." Ah, lovely. Here they are playing on the streets of the pioneer town.
Every night at dinner, Grayson asks Matt about his day at work. He then proceeds to ask who Matt works with. Matt goes through the "daddies" that Grayson knows. Then Grayson will say, "who else?" Matt's reply is always the same, "a bunch of people you don't know." But Grayson, ever the smartie pants, will say, " but you know them, so who are they?"
