We went to a balloon festival which while cold, was very entertaining. Matalley kept pointing and saying Balloon, until her she was too cold to care (you can't see it, but there is a balloon behind them).
Then, Mom and Dad spent a lot of time fixing things around the house (including a marathon sewing project) and playing with the kids. We carved pumpkins, neither kid liked the goop...especially Matalley. In this photo, she is refusing to touch it. 
After forcing her to stick her hand in it, she complained until Matt wiped it off.
Bompa's creation got this response from trick or treaters (or they thought it was really cool):
