Yes, I LOVED the book, but I am referring to the enslavement of my sister. Aunt Krissy was here for the weekend and spent most of her time at the sink washing dishes or in the living room folding clothes...I swear she did 18 loads of laundry. When she wasn't slaving away, she entertained the kids or cuddled with sweet Lola. We did manage a few quick shopping excursions and a lunch date (just like if we lived in the same city all the time). I was sad to see her go.
We also managed to plant some flowers and vegetable plants this weekend. Hoping that the vegetables produce at least a little something.
It was also Lola's 2 week birthday. To celebrate, she got her first bath.
G and M were VERY excited to watch the event...it was like the royal wedding for preschoolers.
They also got to try on their wedding garb for later this summer.
Sadly, Grayson had a bout of strep throat this weekend. He refused to get the antibiotic shot, opting for 10 days of nasty medicine. After his first taste, he said, "Maybe I should have gotten the shot."
