A friend of mine told me that she and her husband are satisfied with having just 2 kids because everyone she knows with more than 2 is crazy. My immediate reaction was to become defensive..."I'm not crazy." But alas, it's true. I don't know any Moms with 3 kids or more who appear to have any sort of normal social life (by normal, I mean one that doesn't revolve around kid activities) or in which the Mom isn't a teeny bit frazzled everytime I run into her (ie. a kid is sick, she has spit up on her shoulder, the kids are screaming in the background, etc.). So this is my life sweet little Lola has been born into. She had her 2 month appointment this week and I'm just now posting about it. I really don't have time to post it now but if I wait until a more convenient time, it will be next week or later and by then I'll have forgotten about her growth chart.
Her head circumference is 38.6 cm, height is 22 3/4 inches long, and weighs in at 9lb 9.5 ou. So she is gaining about 1/2 an ounce a day when the average is 1 ounce a day. Thankfully, the pediatrician is mainly concerned about height for a failure to thrive diagnosis and Lola is gaining in the height department (she's still in the 50th %tile). So even though she has gone from the 50th to the 15th %tile for weight, she will most likely just be skinny like her sister. Which means I got the go ahead to quit setting the alarm at night. And just like Murphy promised, she woke up every 3 hours last night and the night before. I'm hoping it was just the shots that threw her off (I made Matt hold her down and her hurt scream was awful).
In honor of Lola's appointment, I have no pictures of her but a couple pics of the other rugrats. This is Matalley talking on the phone to YiaYia...

Also, the kids wanted a camp out which they enjoyed this weekend.
