Double Whammy

So three shots later, Miss M. ended up with flu anyway.  It's flu B which is better than flu A but she still feels awful.  She also has strep.  It's a sad combo.  She missed her soccer game today and will most likely miss tomorrow's game as well.  Grayson played his but is feeling yucky this afternoon.  I'm guessing, since they shared a drink yesterday, that Grayson is coming down with them both too.  I'll wait until the fever breaks to take him in though.  My insurance is ridiculous.  Matalley's non-office hour visit and the medicine cost us $400 and I don't feel like doing that again anytime soon.  All our Disney trip money is going to be spent on being sick and that's just not cool.  I did buy some Disney princess chicken noodle soup while I was waiting on the pharmacy...very well spent $2 as Miss M. is finally eating something and is very excited about telling me what each shape is that she puts in her mouth.  Please pray that noone else gets sick, including all the kids at the library, chick-fil-a and the science museum balloon fest.  Here are a few pics of lunch with Grayson on Friday.  They are playing peek-a-boo via the lunch tables.
Lola saying boo...
No sick looking kids here...

She didn't show symptoms until after bedtime last night but we were mighty active yesterday.  A hot air balloon took off from Grayson's school Friday morning.  Matalley and Lola got to watch multiple hot air balloons traveling from other school launches

and then last night all the kids watched the balloons glow in the dark at the science museum.  They may have even posed in the basket but I have no pictures.

As you can see from the picture above, Matalley and Lola are playing together more and more.  Lola loves playing babies and pushing them in various carts.  Matalley is an adoring big sis who just mothers as much as she can get away with.  Lola's independence is tricky.  As we were headed to Grayson's soccer game, she insisted on carrying her own chair which is quite heavy for her.  She was tough though and was working so hard to get to the sidelines with it.  It's tricky when she wants to climb into the chair by herself or tie her own shoes.  Thankfully she's good natured enough to not get too upset when you take over duties.
