I am going to brag on my kids. I am fully aware that by doing so, they most certainly will embarrass me over the weekend. Come to think of it, they already did...We all went to get flu shots last week. I said Lola could go first as a way to guilt the older ones into being brave. Everyone was screaming. Lola stopped crying long enough to see Grayson get up on the table and started screaming in empathy. It was pitiful...no telling how many people we scared. Ironically I am bragging on them for how incredibly smart they all are. Grayson is doing very well in school. He knows all the spelling words on the challenge spelling list without me even quizzing him so I don't feel right about forcing him to write the words 10 times each (I just tell him it will help his handwriting). Lola is learning new words everyday and is able to put matching puzzles together. My favorite new words are again and open. Matalley continues to be a good mother hen to Lola and is writing her name very well. I think it's because they all like sushi and that fish is making them smart:) We decided to make sushi last week while Matt was gone.

We made a mess. Grayson told me that it was good but not as good as the real thing because it was too sticky. I told him that real sushi chefs study rice making for 7 years and we just don't have that kind of time. They also have discovered how to baricade themselves in front of the snack cabinets so that they can eat as much as they want without the dogs interrupting.
It was crazy hair day for Grayson last week and Matalley just couldn't wait for her crazy hair day today.
Lola makes for a very cute punk rocker.
In my last post, I forgot a few pics from our trip to CO and then the pumpkin patch field trip with Matalley. The kids know all about Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln (whom Matalley thinks should be president again).
Prize from White Fence Farm
We went on a really, really windy day to the pumpkin patch in Amarillo but the girls still had fun.
