Christmas Dos of Cuatro

The Sadler clan is so big, we hosted our second Christmas in a church with brisket and queso (Matt doesn't believe me when I tell him every time we have a celebration with his family, we have queso and yet we do).
Too many presents in my opinion;)  Though Pops will say, "You can never have too many presents."
Grayson and Dylan had a great time running through the church.
 And Lola likes opening presents.

Sadler is about 6 months younger than Lola but the same size.  Soon they'll play together!  His Mommy just opened up a shop in Little Rock, Arkansas called Dwell Little Rock on Kavanaugh Street if any of you are passing through.  She has super cute stuff!

It was way too short a visit with Mimi.
We stayed in Dallas overnight and about 2 in the morning Grayson awoke throwing up.  It is quite challenging to clean up a mess in someone else's home without waking up everyone else and finding all that you need to do a good job.  We managed just fine to clean up but didn't know where to turn for clean bedding so Matt slept on the floor with one chenille lap blanket and I "slept" in the bed with the kids awaking at every cough or sound worried that something else might happen.  The seven hour trip back to Amarillo was much longer since we had to stop about every 45 minutes and get a new plastic bag.

A timely Christmas gift came from a friend after I posted about the trip online.  She let me know that she had called in an order of zofran to the pharmacy so that Grayson could have a healthy Christmas.  Due to our slow travel time, we arrived at the pharmacy 15 minutes after it closed and thankfully, the grocery store manager called the pharmacist and she agreed to come back to the store (on Christmas Eve) to dispense the meds for me.  Such wonderful acts of kindness!!  And yes, Grayson is doing just fine now.  Merry Christmas!
