Spring Break is Over

Where did it go?  I do not know.  But Grayson was back at school this morning which means tomorrow is going to be a tough day (the day after the first day back is ALWAYS the worst).  We had a great visit to Colorado.  The kids experienced a Colorado snow storm and got to hang out with cousins, Nicholas and Emily all weekend.

And we saw Janie, Molly and Ellie. At one point Lola was saying hi to Janie and she said, "Hi Janie, Hi Janie, Hi cousin!"

We also celebrated Bompa's birthday.

Then when we got back to Amarillo, we spent a day at the science museum (I was a little nervous Lola was going to try to pop this dry ice bubble).

 

 It was warm enough to have a picnic and play outside.

 And then the kids requested a day at the Lubbock science museum so we picked Bobo up on the way and got to see a butterfly exhibit which Lola did not like.  Who knew that she would have a fear of butterflies?  Grayson had 2 on him at one point...here he is showing one that landed on his sticker.

 And then the most perfect Friday weather was a lucky day for Grayson because he went with a friend to a ranch with four wheelers, biking, tennis, swimming...he was exhausted and loved it.
