Happy Easter!

On Good Friday, we traveled to Lubbock to see the penguin movie at the IMAX and visit the science museum. Miss Matalley IS so sentimental. Wants to move back to our old house, doesn't want a new playground at the school, cries at all the Disney movies; so it was fitting that she fretted all throughout the movie about the penguin couple and baby penguin. She could not handle discovery channel in case any of you are planning that.

Bobo planned a FUN Easter egg hunt/scavenger hunt for the kids and then we enjoyed Easter dinner.  Why so early? Because Lola's party was the next day and with Matt's Elder duties at church and Pop's pastor duties at church, it just made it lots easier. The egg hunt was the highlight and Bobo gave good instructions...
I think it was the most relaxing and enjoyable Easter Matt and I have ever had as a married couple. The church music and message were great.

We ate leftovers so I didn't have kitchen duty all day and that allowed us to watch a family movie, play a family game,

 dye some eggs
and have a family egg hunt (with confetti eggs that became an egg war). The weather was off and on rain so it was the perfect temp for a lazy Sunday.

What a wonderful conclusion to the good news we recognized that Morning...Hope for all eternity and praise to the Savior for his sacrifice.
