Hot Mess

This girl....

She put that sticker over her mouth. It reminds me of Silence of the Lambs though she is anything but silent.

This is the day that I saw round black things on the floor and panicked that we had a bunny on the loose in our bathroom, and then thought it might be Millie, and then realized it was Millie but just her raisins. And then she actually did poop on the couch and Grayson stuck her in the tub with the water on and all her poopy clothes and her diaper. And I realized it was all my fault because I hadn't changed her all day and so her diaper was full and Grayson didn't want to have anything to do with it so I should have just been grateful that he was on top of sticking her in the tub. Fun day.

The highlight of our week was Matalley performing in the second grade musical. She received a wordy part that she performed very well....it had a lot of yelling in it. She told her teacher that it's because we yell so much at home.

She played Jule Anne's mother from the book Mud Puddle. My Yaya's red high heels fit her well enough for her to use and she wore an apron Yaya had made as well. Matalley was in her element to perform...too excited to sleep, nervous that we would miss it. She asked Matt, "if you are fired tomorrow, will you still come to my show?"  Thankfully we all made it with Bobo and Pops too and Yia Yia and Bompa on FaceTime.
