Memorial Day Shenanigans

We spent the week after school in Colorado enjoying the fabulous sunshine, blue blue sky, green hills, purple mountains and cousins!!  It's nice having a compound of family all anxious to play with one another. We went to the zoo and a park and just enjoyed not having to go to school.

The kids tried shuffling across the bar like monkeys. Lola is exceptionally good at getting all the way across, Millie not so much.

Lola played up the part of cab driver really well. She asked Grayson and Matalley where they were headed. (They said New York). Then she turned around and said, "So..., are you brother and sister?"

We also played at an awesome park with a great splash pad. Lucy knows when to ham it up for the camera.

 Lola is still a master of the swing. She could swing all day every day.

 Our fun posse took up three blankets!

The rest of the week included mahjong, movies, science museum, meals on the patio, swimming and more play time with the cousins. It was a perfect start to our summer!
