Dances Galore

We couldn't let another year slip by without the annual school sock hop. Sadly, Mr. G had to miss due to State Bible Drill Competition in Lubbock.

I'm positive his time was better spent since his interest in the sock hop would have meant a 2 hour kickball game outside, away from the dance and any dancing girls. Matalley, Lola and Millie on the other hand were really excited to get to the dance. They all danced the hours away while I worked at the hotdog stand.

We decided one dance wasn't enough, we just had to have more and luckily, Lola's ballet recital was the next day. We loved her program. And she was all smiles or at times, concentrating with her tongue stuck out like Michael Jordan. Next year she may do gymnastics instead, but watching her dance to "Abide in Me" was awesome.

She was a perfect dancing princess.
