I heart Easter

I love Easter. Well first, I love Spring (though it's typically Amarillo's windiest weather so that's not my fave) and blooming flowers. I like warmer days and longer daylight. I love that summer is just around the corner and I love celebrating hope. Easter is just a perfect holiday to throw in during the midst of the things I love.

Ironically Easter is messy and I don't love mess but I do like tradition and dyeing eggs is lots of fun. Matalley was a little chemist and created some awesome eggs using a multitude of techniques.

Millie spent a lot of time dipping her finger in the ranch dressing without carrots.

 Easter is sweet and Millie seemed to appreciate that the most this year.

We made it to church 15 minutes early and still managed to see what the Easter bunny brought before our 8:30 start time.

After church, we played the Greek egg game and headed to Plainview for Easter dinner and an egg hunt.

Loved capturing a moment of downtime while Matt and I were talking. They just gravitated to the floor:)
