Whew, what a week. I left last Wednesday for a sorority convention and just got back yesterday. I am the president of my alumnae chapter and every other year, the presidents of all the alumnae and collegiate chapters (and a few other Thetas) meet. I was lucky enough to go during college and had an amazing experience, so I was doubly excited to go again as an alum. I was, however, extremely nervous leading up to the plane trip. I hadn't left Grayson for that long, let alone my sweet baby girl. As G's daycare provider said, I was a little weepy. I was nervous about the whole feeding Matalley while Mom was away too. Thankfully all went well and I think I have the most amazing hubby ever to let me go traipsing off to Miami with a bunch of girls while he stayed with the kids.
When Grayson got to the airport yesterday, he asked Matt, "is this Florida?"
It's good to be home. Matalley's eyes are getting more brown and she just beamed when she saw me. I think she's laughing more now than she was last week. I'll have more stories to share soon. I did pack in the dark for the trip. Our power was out for about 4 hours due to a bad lightening storm. What a way to start a trip.

Wasn't this Matt's weekend to watch the kids anyways. He did go to a baseball game and a golf game. :) Glad you had a good time. Want to hear stories!
