Matalley's first teeth (the two bottom middle) popped through this week. She did not appreciate Matt opening her mouth for the camera.
And Grayson hit his first home run. He was scared/confused by Matt's excitement with the feat...apparently he didn't realize that hitting the ball is the object of the game and acted like it was no big deal. We probably should work on outfitting him more appropriately and teaching him the proper stance...my chalk made plates mean nothing to him.
Matt and I went to see Seinfeld in his comedy tour (it was our anniversary gift to one another). He was FUNNY, especially his bit on being married with kids. Matt related a little too well:)
Sadly, Matt lost a great uncle this week. He went to Groesbeck for the funeral and heard some wonderful stories. Elbert was a good man and will be missed by many. I always appreciated his warm hellos. He had a kind sincerity to him. I never realized that he served under General Patton's Army in WWII. I guess his humbleness was a good cover.
While Matt was gone, the kids and I planted pansies and other fall flowers. Grayson was a great help and Matalley chewed on bark. But interestingly, learned a new trick in the process. She can now click her tongue against the roof of her mouth. Obviously eating dirt is not so bad.

Love the teeth shot! I'm sure she loved that! We need to get together soon - all of us!
