Independence

Thursday Grayson's class had a field trip to the zoo. I was going to be a chaperon, but that morning when I asked G if he wanted me to come along on his field trip, he replied, "No, you came with us to FishPro and I just want to go with my friends this time." Then Friday night he had his first ever drop off birthday party. As we were pulling up to the building, he said, "you can just drop me off at the curb. I can go in by myself." And Matalley is into doing things all by herself these days, "you no help me, okay Mommy?" It's been a bittersweet 'what happened to my babies' month.
