Weekend Tidbits

Thanks to my amazing in-laws and supportive husband, we had a very successful garage sale Saturday and had enough items left over to meet my JLA rummage sale item quota. SO, as of tonight, I can FINALLY pull the van in the garage. It's only been 2 months, but long enough!! And we got rid of all that stuff I didn't want/need. Just in time for us to move out of our new house for a week or so while we have all the new hardwood floors, that we just laid down, replaced due to a very small hot water line leak. Yes, I'm frustrated that we still can't get settled into our home, but very glad that insurance is helping and that it's not Christmas time while all of this is going on. Life is throwing us some curve balls but we are oh so blessed!

Friday was a little hectic with plumbers and other visitors, so the kids were sent outside to play. Within 10 minutes, they were soaked head to toe after playing with the water hose (a big no, no). What a mess....Grayson had his first soccer game this weekend. He's only had one practice and is the youngest on the team (there's even a first grader) so I'm a little worried I've set him up. If he's anything like me, he'll get frustrated that he's not the best and want to quit. Just hoping he sticks with it and appreciates the challenge. He's number 8.Today, Matalley lost some balloons. I told her they floated to Heaven. She replied, "I want Jesus to bring them back."
