So eluding to my earlier statement. This last weekend was Baylor Homecoming and we made the long trek down to Baylor Friday after school, returning Sunday. The parade was great.

Baylor Weekend
Our family homework for school last week was to disguise a turkey. Grayson wanted a football player and since it was so close to Baylor's homecoming, we came up with this.
Tonight Grayson told me that noone really liked his turkey and that it was missing shoelaces so it wasn't very cool. I was reminded of his 3rd birthday party cake. I am just a series of disappointments to my son. Good thing he's so darn cute and smart. Yesterday he pointed out an exercise studio that use to be a scrapbooking store. He said, "That exercise place use to be a paper store and we went in once to get paper and the woman that worked there had 2 kids." I've only been in that store once; It was with Grayson to buy paper for Matalley's baby announcements. We haven't been back since, nor have I ever told him about the change in ownership/businesses. He is freakishly observant!!

Friends were great.
Family was great.

Game was great (including the end zone kid zone...face painting and bouncy houses, who hoo).
We also spent some good time with Mimi. She sent us back with some treasures. Grayson has an altoid tin filled with little trinkets that he keeps in his pocket. One of the treasures included an antique sewing box which the kids play with at Mimi's. It houses a little tea set that Matalley uses to play restaurant. It's now next to our couch. We also are in love with the antique mantle clock that belonged to Mimi's Mom and Dad when they first married. It's nice to have more of Mimi in our home:)
