We headed to Waco/Dallas for the last part of spring break. The kids were not too thrilled about another long drive but were super troopers. We spent Friday morning with Bobo at a park. Matalley traveled the monkey bars all by herself for the first time so she was pretty excited.
The bluebonnets are blooming. It's amazing how much greener it is in Waco than in Amarillo and makes me sad thinking how much greener North Carolina must be this time of year than Waco.
Even Lola struggled with the living plants. 'Sesame, transport me away from this strange green stuff.'
Then we enjoyed lunch with Mimi.
The kids swam in a COLD pool. And we ended the evening with dinner at JoBetsy's. I love this photo since the three siblings have the exact same look:)
I thought the funniest thing, besides all those crazy upsets in the March Madness tournament, was the discussion at dinner about dogs going to Heaven. Matalley decided that dog heaven was a joke, saying, "you guys are just making that up."...glad we didn't have to go too deep into that one.
