Happy Birthday Roller Skate

Happy Birthday to Lola, though she still says it's Matalley's birthday.

She will, however, tell you that she's 2.  She received a immunization shot this morning and didn't cry...she either has a high pain tolerance or is super tough, probably the latter after I think about how long it took us to realize her arm was broken last year.  She is in the 10th %ile for weight (23.8lb) and 70th%ile for height(34.5inches)...estimates show she will only be 5'6" as an adult in that range.  I wonder how short 50th%ile kids end up being? Her head circumference is 47.7cm She received a baby from Bobo and Pops this morning and decided to read to her (we call her Megan) on the way to the doctor's office.  She was not happy that Megan kept falling asleep.

This morning Matalley got Lola out of her crib and I found them under the dining room table fort eating fruit snacks for breakfast.  Lola is easy going, relaxed, independent, loving little girl.  She'll give kisses on the lips and sweet hugs and ask for you to tickle her "again."  She'll cup my face in her hands when she wants my attention, go wherever the big kids go, and name An Kissy (Aunt Krissy) first on the list of people who love her. She likes her paci, breakfast, and to read a book.  She likes to buckle herself in the carseat ("I do it!") and put on her own shoes.  She's quite the talker, likes to sing "Deep and Wide" and recite Humpy (Humpty Dumpty).  We are all very much in love with our Roller Skate!
