2 Weeks

I have a champion eater!!!  I think Millie's first doctor's visit was the first time I've visited the pediatrician and left feeling absolutely confident in my decision to nurse.  Crazy that it took me 9 years to reach this point, especially considering the fact that the other 3 were each nursed for at least a year.  Keep in mind that Lola didn't reach birth weight until 5 weeks because of her laid-back eating attitude though and Matalley was and is a lightweight compared to others her age.  Grayson just stressed me out because I was working full-time and he was my first.  All that to say, Millie weighed the same as an average 3 week old...8 lbs. 6 ou. or 75th%ile for a 2 week old.  Yay Millie!  She was 20 1/4 inches for length or 50th%ile and head circumference was 36.3cm (also in 50th%ile).  She is sleeping 5 hours and then another 3-4.  She rarely cries or fusses though she does have a crazy jaw...pops out of socket a lot. I hope it doesn't cause her problems later on. Her belly button is looking good...the scab fell off at day 13 but she didn't get a bath right away due to crazy schedules and visitors.  She's sleeping in the cradle in our room and then just chills with me the rest of the day.

Right now her favorite toy is the pacifier and she doesn't mind tummy time at all.  So loving this little girl!
