Spring Break has come and gone. We enjoyed seeing The Lego Movie and Walking with Dinosaurs and a trip to Colorado (which included Bompa's birthday party, swimming, and a trip to Krispy Kreme). Just before leaving for Colorado, I took Millie in to the doctor for the second time since her 2 week appointment. The first time, we thought she might have RSV but determined she just needed some nasonex (maybe the wind stirring up too much for her?) and then last week, she had a croup cough. She was on oral steroids for 3 days and it was awful...no sleep and unable to calm herself. I am glad to be done with those and hoping we don't have any more issues.
Lego Movie was a fun outing for our family and Millie loved the lights of the big screen. We went to church and I'm going to zumba again...life is getting back to normal:)
Matalley had more important things to do (or people to talk to) while we were packing for Colorado.
The drive there was uneventful and I was quite proud of myself for attempting a 7 hour journey with 4 kids on my own. Have to say, they were all pretty great too...taking care of each other during rest stops, keeping the van fairly clean, and not fighting while I nursed Millie.
We had lots of fun with all the girl cousins playing together. Matalley is a mother hen to her chicks. She was the teacher while they played school. Lola cried when Matalley sent her to the principal's office for not staying in a straight line. I don't think Molly or Ellie will be excited to go to school after this experience.
Lola and Ellie watched Dumbo on the computer while Molly, Matalley and Grayson watched Snow White on the big screen...much too scary.
Proyaya got to visit us as well and I love this picture of her with all her great-grands.

The trip home was not so much fun. I was cranky, tired, and sad to leave everyone. The kids were tired and off schedule. Lola spilled her milk all over the back seat, so I can't wait to smell my van in a few weeks. I had a lot of dirty laundry to face once everything was unloaded. Blurg.
