I had the "opportunity" to take 4 kids to Colorado without Matt (in other words, I hadn't seen my nieces and nephews since February and Matt was going to work over the weekend, so I decided to attempt a long road trip with no back up). We made it to Lone Tree in record time 5 hr and 45 min with just one pit stop. We had a fun cousin pizza night where the adults in attendance were totally out numbered.
My Uncle Mike and Uncle Steve took the kids to the aquarium the next day while Millie and I took a shopping trip and then we had more cousin time. Grayson's favorite part of the trip was the restaurant in which they ate wings for snack.
Millie thinks she's old enough to keep up with the big kids. She's even learned how to fake cry and will watch herself in the mirror for practice.
We were thankful for good weather and an 'easy' trip. We made good time on the trip home too but stopped off to see a high school friend and her family before they move to Washington D.C. The last time we saw each other, we only had one kid a piece...now look at this brood.
